WHAT’S THE BUZ ON C-Z Marketing and Communications?

“When I think of Celeste, I visualize strength, professionalism, knowledge and warmth.

With passion and professionalism, Celeste worked at helping me re-brand my hair salon into Sandy’s Hair & Spa. She created the content of my website, worked with the graphic designers and web programmers to create what I believe (and have been told by others) is one of the best sites in my industry. She worked with the printers to create my business cards, brochures, coupons, gift certificates and they look absolutely fantastic!

It didn’t stop there. She helped me decide on a strategic opening date for my Grand Re-Opening, wrote the media release, developed invitations and invited the Mayor, Board of Trade, our MPP and MP and made sure all the media came out to get the photo-ops. She provided a professional agenda and package for all the attendees and our Mayor stated that it was the most organized opening he had ever attended. I just had to provide a few light snacks and show up! The whole undertaking was overwhelming to me, but with Celeste on my team I was able to stay calm.

Her integrity was proven to me on several occasions and I truly feel she would be an asset to any person looking for assistance in any communications endeavor. Thanks Celeste, I look forward to a continuing relationship with you.”

“I would like to thank Celeste for all of her help as she guided me through the whole process of branding my business and gettingmy website up and running. Her knowledge and professionalism was amazing.

Things I had no idea about I would ask her and she would have the answers, if not she would get the answers. I appreciated her follow up and keeping in touch with me the whole way through. It was my pleasure working with her and I would recommend her highly. Celeste is a RARE Find. Thanks for everything Celeste.”

“I had the pleasure of working with Celeste for more than a decade. Celeste was the client side representative for many of the projects and campaigns we worked on together during those years.

Ad agencies try their best to forge partnerships and a working relationship with their clients, recognizing that both sides have value to bring to the table. Collaboration between both is the key to an efficient process and great work that both the client and the agency can be proud of.

From our perspective Celeste has been a key resource for many reasons, not the least of which include:

  • Her ability to manage specific projects in light of the broader vision
  • Her ability to manage the special interests of many internal stakeholders, special interest groups and internal customers to the point of consensus
  • Her experience – Celeste can speak our language, understands the challenges, knows how to get the best out of a team
  • Her working style, always attentive and open to listening to new ideas, decisive when required to move projects and campaigns along
  • Her heart, somehow in the heat of it all working with Celeste leaves everyone ‘in tact’ and happy to work for her – Celeste has a great motivational style
  • Her communication and organizational skills. Celeste has saved her clients and employers tens of thousands of dollars with second-to-none preparedness
  • Her creativity. Celeste has always been a key contributor to creative, process and solutions
  • Her boldness. Celeste is not afraid to ask for what she needs, and when she needs it
  • Her writing. Not everyone can write well – Celeste takes the lead on this for her clients and it was a great service to them and us as together we developed the overall creative

In short, I would not hesitate whatsoever offering a recommendation for Celeste. She is conscientious, honest, dedicated, direct, professional and a sheer pleasure to work for and with. I’m available to expand on any of the above should a prospect wish to find out more.”

Background with CCAA:
In 2006, C-Z Marketing (previously HGP) began a four year project with the Canadian Centre for Abuse Awareness, strategizing with the Board and CEO to help them through an organizational brand development and marketing program. The strategy included a complete new re-design for the overall brand and development of new collateral print materials (general and planned giving brochures, presentation folder, display matrix and pop-ups, letterhead, business cards, BRE, branded event poster templates) and a Brand Policy book was instituted. Although the organization did not have the funds to develop an entirely new website, a new branded synergistic skin was designed along with easier navigation components. The brand development also included a powerful corporate DVD and music video and a 2-year poster campaign on GO Transit followed by billboards in the GTA. The campaign was further supported by video psa’s on York Region Transit and at Honda Indy, NASCAR, World Film Festival, Fashion Weeks (Vancouver, Montreal), Toronto’s Yonge & Dundas Square (Christmas ad campaign) and at the 2009 ARGO’s Family Day Game. Magazine print ads and PR media campaigns were carried out to add sustainability and further awareness to the overall strategy.

“Celeste’s contribution to the CCAA brand and marketing strategy has been invaluable to our public awareness efforts and to the furthering of our overall mission.”
CCAA President & CEO, Ellen Campbell.
